Biography:

I have represented the Washington Central Ward since 2008 as a Labour and Co-Operative Councillor. I have lived in Washington for most of my life been born in the Central Ward, with my husband David we have brought our children up here.

I have many years’ experiences as a school governor my community interests including been Chair of the Columbia Community Association and Vice Chair of the Regional Scrutiny Network.

I love to spend my spare time walking along the Coast, River Wear or in one of our many Washington Parks.
