I was born and have lived most of my life at Easington Lane, Hetton-le-Hole.
I represented Easington Lane as a Hetton Town Council Councillor and the larger Hetton Ward area since 2004 as a Sunderland City Councillor.
I was married to Jennie and we have two children, two grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
I worked for over thirty years within the clothing and footwear, retail and manufacturing sector.
My interests include computing, reading and travelling. I also enjoy a bit of Diy.
The second Friday of every month a ward surgery will be held at 09.00am until 10.00am at The Hetton Centre, Welfare Road, Hetton le Hole.
