I have lived in Sunderland all my life. I care passionately about this City which is why I stood for election recently as Reform Councillor. I want to make a difference. I have worked in Private Industry in Management, I am also qualified management accountant and Work Study Analyst. I am interested in local housing issues including proliferation of new HMOS which increasingly put a strain on local services. I am interested in preventing the overdevelopment of housing on green belt land where possible and in the improvement of road quality and safety e.g potholes.
Most of the manufacturing industries I worked in no longer exist having long since transferred production abroad. Jobs and opportunities lost to the UK and the Northeast with inevitable consequences both socially and financially, especially for young people. Against this background I hope to make a difference.
We shall be holding ward surgeries on the first Monday of every month between 2-4pm in Plains Farm Club.
Please come along and meet us for a cup of tea or coffee and let us know your concerns regarding the Tunstall and Humbledon Ward. We shall do our best to help you.
