Biography:

I was elected to Sunderland City Council in 2010 to represent the people in the Washington west ward. I am married with two grown up children. During my time as an elected member I have served on a number of committees. Currently I am on Washington Area Committee, Washington People Board and the Adoption Panel. I worked on Post office counters for 25 years before taking early retirement.

I hold a ward surgery every second Saturday of the month except August between 10.30am and 11.15am at the Wheel Centre Albany village.
