I grew up in Sunderland and live in the city with my family. I
have brought my children up here and I'm proud to call Sunderland home. I
became a Councillor because I want to listen to people, work with them, and get
things done to make our city an even better place to live.
I represent Millfield, Thornhill, Pallion and the City Centre on
the Council. I keep in touch with residents in the area with a regular ‘FOCUS’
newsletter. Together with my colleague Niall, I run campaigns to improve our
area. As an opposition councillor, I stand up to the Council when residents
feel their concerns aren’t be responded to.
If there are any local issues you would like to discuss please
drop me a line. I do my best to be available all year round by phone, email and
post. I can also arrange to meet you in person.
As your City Councillor, the council’s data protection
policy applies when I am carrying out council business. This explains your data
protection rights and who to contact if you have a query about use of your
data; https://www.sunderland.gov.uk/data-protection.
